My human XPD–oxaliplatin model superposed on the experimental
cyclobutane-dimer structure PDB 8REV (ctXPD stalled on a cross-linked duplex;
Kuper et al., Nat Struct Mol Biol 2024). Aligned on the protein (XPD↔ctXPD homologs),
so both lesions sit in the same verification pocket.
